Yellowstone was fun!! Yes, we were both pregnant. And my sister Molly was with us(she was usually carrying Annika because I was so huge and miserable). I think half the people that saw us thought that we were polygomists :). I also remember good times getting up early to babysit each others kids while the other went to school, frequent trips to the zoo, and just chillin' at the sandbox.
What a fun idea! One of my favorite memories is the big water fight we had in your backyard. Not only was it a blast, but it was hilarious to watch all of the kids just staring at us wondering what we were doing.
I know I will always treasure the times that we have been able to visit while we watch the kids play. Thanks for all the memories and making Ohio a great place to be!
How funny, my friend just had this on her blog- tags travel fast in the blogging world. One of my favorite memories with you Beth was when you and I went and did baptisms before Nate and I were married. I guess nothing real specific stands out, but I was glad we were friends because I wanted to marry your brother, and I remember thinking, when they said "Sister Maynes" for you, I was thinking- maybe that will be me in a little while :)!!! How funny to think about that now. Anyway- lots of memories of coures, but that one stands out :) Love ya Beth!!
I remember coming to do visiting teaching and hoping you were a nice girl that I could be friends with--and you were! I remember when you were pregnant with your first and that you didn't find out on the 'official' ultrasound and so you went to one of those places in the mall. I remember using your sewing machine to make a halloween costume just after we moved out of the village but I still had to work up in Salt Lake, you were so nice to let me crash at your house for several hours. And I also remember making the douhnuts, those were good and tasty times!
Of course I remember you! And I'm so glad you posted on my blog and let me check out yours. You have a beautiful family!
I remember band tour in high school. I think it was the one to Las Vegas, and you were listening to the same song on your portable CD player (nothing about that makes us sound old!) over and over. It wasn't long before we were all singing it for the rest of the trip. I will have to think on it to remember what song it was, though.
One of my fist memories of you was when we first moved into the village and you were the RA. You had to come give us the pep talk and when you mentioned that we were not supposed to store propane in our apartment, you saw the look that Nate and i gave each other and you told us not to say anything. (meaning, if you tell me you have one then I have to take it away, but if you don't tell me, then I don't know you have it). Nice memory eh? I thought from then on that you must be a very cool person.
I remember you were my first RA and you came to our house to give us the orientation and you were SO pregnant with your cute boy and I felt so bad when R would cry at your heels and you couldn't pick her up. And her silly funny comments in nursery. "I don't love my brother, not one bit." She cracked me up!
I remember when you and your kids came to knock on my door and then asked if EThan could play when we had just moved in. I thought that was soo nice and I enjoy all the visits outside while the kids play.
Hey Bethany,
Your kids are getting so big. I tried to commoent earlier and I don't know if it came through. In case it didn't haere it is again. I just remember the walks the zoo, and all the hours we spent doing your hair. Your hair is sooooo much thicker than it looks.

Hello Bethany.......a blast from the past. The memories are camp related...Couldn't have done it without all your willingness to help. Do you remember the blow up Bee year? Timberlane....what more can be said? I am glad to get back in touch with you. No blog. just an e-mail address. Drop a line sometime. atbacher@q.com. We are flying into Columbus on our way to Michigan Aug. 1.
My memory isn't one specific time...just hanging out on the bricks in front of your house. Our kids have spent hours and hours playing together, giving us time to chat. I am really going to miss that, when it comes time to move....but let's not talk about that!
I have a hard time narrowing my memories with you down to one. You were my buddy. You took care of me. Cheered me up when I was sad and included me where ever you went. I do have one memory that I'll share. I remember hanging out at the Knightens house and we were all playing the "taste it and guess game". One of their cousins was going to get coffee and make you taste it. I remember feeling so angry that anyone would do anything to hurt you and I spoke up and said No. And you I went home. I felt so protective of my big sis. You are always there and I love you!!!
I remember in the village when you were the RA. My sister-in-law was also a RA. You would always tell me the strangest things she had done at the RA meetings. I told you she was different! I also remember always chatting by the sandbox with all the other moms.
