Listening skills

Today I was really struggling to have my children listen to me. When I got to the point to put one of them in time out for not listening. This is how the conversation went:
Me: you need to go sit in time out.
E: why?
Me: because you aren't listening to me.
E: I will listen to you when I am in High School.

And there you have it.

Haha, I love that story. That kid is so cute.
So, I may have to use that ant killer stuff you said I could use on one of my blog posts. I still can't get rid of them. Thanks!

I am totally laughing out loud. That is hilarious. You need to post that in big bold letters somewhere and then remind them of that when they are in High School. You are such a patient mother.
