Today was not my ideal Sunday. I dropped Matt off at the airport at 6:30 in the morning and then brought my three kids home in hopes that they would go back to sleep. Nope that didn't happen. at 8:15 I decided that I needed to shower and get ready for church if we were going to make it on time. The two year old who has a sinus infection did not like this idea. then when I decided to dress the four year old he decided he didn't want to wear anything but his pajamas to church. I was determined to be on time. at 10:15 we were out the door for our 20 minute drive to church so that we could be on time. Of course my four year old falls asleep on the way to church. We sit down. and the two year old can't be quiet He is busy talking about the seeing eye dog or stealing crayons from the six year old the WHOLE time. I take him out. What does the four year old decide to do, Tackle the six year old as I am walking back in. So I go to get him and he throws a crayon at me. Back out to the hall we go. Needless to say sacrament meeting was not the highlight of my Sunday especially when the people sitting in front of me who DO NOT have kids kept looking back at me. Usually my kids are really good but today was not one of their good days. I guess we should get some blessings for at least making it there. I know there are people who do this every sunday but I am not one of them. I guess we will just chalk this up to experience. Not happening again anytime soon hopefully.

I know all about those special sundays. There were a few weeks I just said "FORGET IT" when Mike was in the bishopric. It is the most painful thing to wrestle with 3 kids all on your own! Way to go!
If it makes you feel any better, our family was always the one that was "looked at"...so I'm sorry! Matt will be back soon and things will be better.
I know how you feel. I had to do it for three weeks in a row and I swore I would never do it again. But I know that the next three years will be even worse! Hopefully you won't have to "fly solo" for a long time!
Pardon my chuckle, but it is only because I have been there, the crayon throwing though, that had me rolling on the floor laughing...good luck next time ;)
Aw geez...that's when you throw in the towel and take the kids to Mickey-D's for some breakfast!
I feel your pain Beth! Those kinds of sundays stink.... I don't envy the moms that do that on a regular basis. How long is Matt gone for??
So sorry! But it's kindof funny, too. Like Rachel said, because I've been there. But, oh. I do not miss those days, I'll give you that.
Hang in.
Oh Beth! For what it's worth I didn't hear your kids at all that day in church!
I am still chuckling that your two oldest kids were wrestling in the halls!
Hope you are doing better now that your hubs is home!
I am sorry but that's a crack up. I love church but sacrament can sometimes last forever! I love ya!
Bethany!! I never actually check people's blogs, I just read them on google reader. Anyway...I decided to check a few today and I noticed something very interesting on the right hand side - WHAT??? YAY!!! Congrats!
Congratulations!!!
I love the photos of your little ones by the number representing their age!
WHAT?!?! YOU ARE PREGNANT?!??! Congrats! :)
Bethany I didn't know you were expecting!! Congratulations! And your kids are too cute to be bad :)
About the free hockey tickets....there are doctors that donate tickets for all kinds of random games at OSU, so Jon just put his name in a drawing and if he wins, we get the tickets! It was our first hockey game! I think jon might enter more drawings! Sometimes they have left overs. I will keep my eyes open for ya! :)
Hey...just noticed the preggo countdown ticker! Congrats!!!
